COURSE AND ELIGIBILITY

Essential Qualification: Masters degree in Microbiology/Agricultural Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology and Botany with specialization in Mycology Desirable: Experience in isolation, identification and maintenance of Bacteria/ Actinomycetes and fungi (mycorrhiza) from extreme habitats (saline/alkaline), experience in extraction of plant microbes based secondary metabolites, genomic and soil metagenomic DNA Experience in handling equipment like PCR, GLC, and HPLC; good working knowledge of computer

CAREER PROSPECTS

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years for men and 40 years for women (relaxation in age as per GOI/ ICAR norms) Emoluments: Rs 16000/- plus HRA (10%) per month for first two years and Rs 18000/- plus HRA (10%) per month for third year
